The Palmeston is a backless mule, slipper design that also draws inspiration from lightweight jazz and dance shoes. Clean, simple, and versatile, the
soft leather moulds to your foot, and the sole flexes with natural movement. The handmade natural leather lined upper sits atop a custom-cut Vibram sole unit in a choice of black, white, or gum colour, which are able to be resoled at our Northampton factory if required at a later date. Between the insole and outsole, the shoe features a layer of cork filling which is usually only found in high-quality, hand-made dress shoes. This process acts in a similar way to memory foam, adding comfort and support as your foot gradually beds into the shoe, leaving a subtle and lasting personal imprint of the wearer's feet.
