From the brand: This fabric is made from recycled yarn by the Spanish textile company Ferree, who run their business accoridng to a very similar philosphy to UES. These yarns are made from recylced denim, so it features a distinctive heathered light indigo colour. These tees are most similar to UES' No. 8 Slub T-Shirts as they also feature thick, uneven threads, with just a little bit less slub.
This is a true knit t-shirt, woven on vintage loopwheel knitting machines at a very low tension, incorporating super thick, textured yarns as the base of the knit. The outcome is is a very substantial heavyweight tee with such outstanding texture that not only can one see and track the irregularity down the vertical weave of the knit on the face of the fabric, but slub and nep can also be seen all over the knit in the gaps between the threads. With a super soft hand and great fit, this is easily one of the most comfortable t-shirts we have tried.
