Being true to Kato form, this piece is intended to be as comfortable as it is tough, so it has been sewn with a 98% cotton, 2% poly fabric that has a bit of give where it is needed.
This fabric has been pigment dyed using the garment dying me
thod, which requires dyeing the pieces after they have already been cut & sewn. This creates the aged look of the vintage military shirts that are treasured by collectors. This is because garment dyeing simply produces a superior dye process, with greater depth of colour and a vintage appearace around the seams, while also granting a soft hand to the fabric and removing all shrinkage.
