Designed in Denmark, and meticulously assembled in Europe, the Norse Standard Sweater takes its inspiration from wool sweaters which have very early origins from the islands around the UK and south of Norway, having been worn as fisherman sweaters. Later, the plain-knitted lambswool sweater found favour with the Ivy League students of the 1950s and1960s. Despite its adaptation by the academic elite, its origins are very much as a hard-wearing sweater.
