A LITTLE HISTORY... The word "tote bag" comes from the English "to tote" which means "to carry". We can define the tote bag as a fabric bag that can be carried everywhere. The tote bag was designed at the beginning of the 20th century for British postmen. Since then, its use has grown considerably. Today, it is popular for its practicality, convenience, and trendy style. ECONOMICAL The tote bag is a multi-purpose bag, and it can even sometimes be used as a handbag. The fabric bag can be used very frequently and for a long time unlike the paper bag which is more fragile, less practical and therefore lasts less time. SOLID, and ECOLOGICAL We chose the thickest and most resistant of the 100% cotton fabrics recommended by Les Petites Mains, based on their experience. It is a pattern canvas, also called in fashion houses "butter canvas". The climate cause and waste reduction being a major issue, both for citizens and businesses, a natural material makes sense. USEFUL IN EVERYDAY LIFE Our Tote bag will be extremely versatile and useful in everyday life. It can be used to carry groceries, books, sports equipment, and much more.  We really thought about its shape and dimensions, for a useful and practical purpose. WASHING AND CARE TIPS Our Tote bag is made of 100% cotton, it is best to wash it by hand. To remove the main stains from the bag, try washing with a little detergent or natural soap. It is better to choose cold water, tote bags tend to shrink when washed. However, if you choose to wash it in the machine, the tote bag often comes out wrinkled: do not be afraid, with the drying step it will return to its original shape. You now arrive at the simplest step, but one that should not be neglected. A good drying of the tote bag will allow it to regain its original shape, and to keep it longer. To do it best, lay the bag flat, in a well-ventilated place, after having stretched it a little to give it back its original shape. Be careful, do not put your tote bag in the dryer, it would inevitably shrink. The most meticulous will iron it!
