Crafted with hand-dyed floral lace and brass, these earrings reflect the vibrant beauty of nature, combining soft textures with striking structure. Measuring approximately 4 cm by 3 cm, each piece weighs a mere 8 grams for a lightweight feel. Available in unique colors inspired by the natural world, they feature hypoallergenic gold-plated stainless steel posts. Handmade in Montreal, these limited edition earrings highlight vintage materials, adding a distinctive touch to any outfit. From the brand: Of the latin word for corals, these earrings share the dual nature of soft and solid textures such like the polyps and their exoskeleton. They also share the glowing tips with the sea anemone of the Hexacorallia family. A careful balance between textile and metal, these statement earrings are composed of hand dyed floral shaped lace and brass components that create brilliance and structure. Available in a large variety of colours inspired by the natural world. Colors include beige (on ear), desert rose (dusty pink), magenta, coral, terracotta, mustard (ochre) black, gray (not shown), white, navy, light blue, burgundy, violet, teal, evergreen emerald and moss green. Come on hypoallergenic gold plated 316L grade stainless steel posts, with butterfly backings. Measure approximately 4 cm long by 3 cm wide. Each earring weighs approximately 8 grams (the pair weighs 16 grams together). Care tips : Keep out of humidity as much as possible and avoid direct contact with aerosols such as perfume, hairspray or sunscreen. (These are good tips for all of your jewelry.) Handmade with love in our Montreal studio. Limited edition due to the vintage and exotic sourcing of the materials. This Ilk carefully crafts wearable art in limited quantities in her Montreal studio. Sourcing rare fabrics, designing, hand dyeing, meticulously treating against fraying, stiffening, hand sewing, and assembling are all part of the process. The sheen and softness of the lace is preserved wherever possible. Due to the nature of our production method, each item may vary slightly. Most of the pieces are limited editions as they are created from vintage lace as well as other vintage or exotically sourced materials. There may be slight discolouration or scuffs due to this vintage nature. This is part of the jewelry’s uniqueness and story. Visit https://thisilk.com/
