Product Description

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual showcases a seamless blend of refined craftsmanship and timeless style. With its iconic stainless steel case and glossy silver dial, this watch epitomizes horological excellence. Features include original Dauphine hands and luminous Radium plots, ensuring practicality meets elegance. The smooth bezel and distinct case design reflect a pivotal era in watchmaking, making it not just a timepiece, but a celebrated piece of history. Perfect for collectors and enthusiasts alike. From the brand: <!-- td {border: 1px solid #ccc;}br {mso-data-placement:same-cell;} --> An automatic, stainless steel Rolex Oyster Perpetual no date watch. A true icon in horological history, the Rolex Oyster case is quite possibly the most iconic watch ever made. So much so that even its current version traces the majority of its DNA to these early examples. The example presented here is a smooth bezel, non screw down "super Oyster" crown with the more "bubble back" screw down case back. This period was essentially a transitional period between the original Bubble Back Oyster cases and the Datejust case that evolved in the 1960's to the present day. This glossy silvered dial is a rare example where the "Chronometer" is printed above the "Officially Certified" on the dial. The original Dauphine hands are present and set with the original Radium. The Radium lume plots are also all present on the dial, also showing well under UV light. The case shows signs of light polishing over the years, as is common with steel watches from this time period. However, all serial and model numbers are present both between the lugs and on the exterior case back. The dial shows some small signs of aging, but is all original. Overall, a very handsome part of early Rolex history that still has many lives to live. Case measurement: 34.5 mm This item is final sale
