Aquastar's Benthos H1 Blue Edition is a tribute to their long-standing tradition of creating groundbreaking and highly functional tool watches designed for sailors, professional divers, and environmentalists. This latest version maintains the impressive depth resistance and unique center-mounted chronograph functionality of its predecessor, while also featuring a more streamlined and affordable time-only design. Heralding back to the iconic Benthos 500 from 1970, the flagship Aquastar archive watch - the Benthos Blue Edition H1 (Heritage Chapter 1) - will be released in winter 2024. This striking dive watch boasts the same visual cues, capability, and dimensions as the pioneering Benthos 500, which was the first dive watch in the world to achieve a depth resistance of 500 meters without a monobloc case. Notably, the Benthos was one of the few dive watches to receive approval in the U.S. Navy diving manual during the 1970s.
