Though traditionally made with a soft, brushed-feel Melton wool, our Pea Coat is made from a unique wool with short fibres and high density, similar to Harris Tweed, and manufactured by the only fabric producer in Japan who can achieve this kind of texture. Every detail of this coat has been meticulously designed with longevity and craftsmanship in mind.
The reinforcements on this coat – located on the sleeve hems, cuffs and pocket edges – are made from superior quality vegetable tanned leather, dyed using a rare technique that dyes the leather to the core rather than just surface level which is common with leather goods. Featuring a large collar that can be buttoned up, and ribbed woollen sleeve hems to keep out the wind, this Pea Coat will see you through many cold seasons.
