1950s WOOL TROUSERS / CHARCOAL
Product Description
Embrace timeless elegance with these sophisticated wool trousers, inspired by 1950s tailoring. Woven in Scotland from high-twisted lambswool, known for its durability and classic appeal, these trousers feature inward facing pleats for a polished look. Designed to be worn at the waist, they offer a comfortable fit that tapers to the hem, making them perfect for both formal occasions and stylish everyday wear. Crafted in Japan, they combine heritage craftsmanship with contemporary style. From the brand: Inspired by a pair of suit trouser from the 1950s, our wool trousers are made to compliment the 1950s Wool Sports Coat. The fabric used is woven in Scotland, reproducing from the manufacturer's 100-year-old archives. The fabric is made of high-twisted lambswool, which is traditionally called "Thornproof" because of its resistance to 'snagging', and has a history of being widely used for country outdoors and sportswear. The pleats on the front of the trousers are in-ward facing for a more formal look, and are designed to be worn at the waist with an adjuster belt rather than belt loops. The classic silhouette fits comfortably and is full in the hips which tapers to the hem. High Twist Thorn Proof Wool Cotton Twill Lining Made in Japan
