From the brand: The Porto Classic was inspired by our Founder’s love for the city of Porto, Portugal and the unique history of Rabelo boats transporting Port wine barrels, from the Douro Valley region in northern Portugal, to the coastal city of Porto for export. Much like the rich color pallet found in Port wine production, the Porto Classic’s leather mimics the brownish color that results from aging the wine in wooden Oak barrels. The Porto Classic’s DNA is a hybrid of the traditional boat shoe style, designed from the sole up with technically advanced sole siping for superior all-around performance.
