Made from a luxurious 100% silk fabric, this tie is cut and sewn entirely by hand at our North Carolina factory. More than a hundred stitches create the lifeline of the tie, giving it a perfect drape while allowing the fabric to flow freely when worn. Even after a full day of wear, this tie will always return to its original shape.
Hand sewn labels, loops and bar tacks are added before the tie is lightly steamed and shaped by hand. The result is a tie with its own unique personality; no two are exactly the same and that’s just the way we like it.
Basketweave fabrics can take on numerous forms. Some are defined by their weave structure, but others can be a bit more interpretive. This Green Basketweave fabric was developed for us at our partner mill in Como, Italy, and uses a jacquard weave to create an appearance of a woven basket. Crafted with richly-dyed silk, this style can be worn with a variety of shirt and suit colors to add a pop of color to the outfit.
