After extensive trail time in summer temps, it became clear we can do better, and we did. Here we release the newest version of the Alta 5”, the ultra breathable Alta Light.
The Alta Light is updated to have a 4-way stretch with micro perforation on the front body and through the back yoke to enhance air flow and keep you cooler when temps rise. The seat of the short continues to utilize the light weight and durable nylon 4 way stretch with water-resistant finish. This helps the back of the short to hold up under any unique strain or abrasion.
Keeping with all the same functional features of the original Alta 5”, it maintains it’s attributes of being our top performance trail run short, but now lighter.
In combination with a lightweight moisture wicking brief liner, short 5” inseam and extended-slit notched hem, the flat jacquarded elastic single-ply waistband with internal drawstring delivers the perfect fit and comfort of the short. The YKK zip back pocket provides a stable hold, and is lined with a waterproof coated fabric to protect the contents. The back side pockets are for on-the-go fuel/gels/snacks or a great place to pack out trash you find on the trails.
