The Bell & Ross BR 05 GMT watch features all the classic design codes as its predecessors with its square-shaped case, integrated bracelet and round black dial but instead demands the eyes of modern-day globetrotters with a bright red arrow-shaped GMT hand at its centre. The shape of the GMT hand has been associated with orientation in time and space, perfectly fitting in with Bell & Ross’ time instruments while the smooth black sunray-finished centre echoes the colours used for on-board flight instruments with bright Superluminova inserts for unmissable readability.
The dial continues to impress with a unique inner bezel detailed in two colours, a black semi-circle to indicate night-time hours and a grey semi-circle for the daytime hours. Powering the GMT complication of the Bell & Ross BR 05 GMT watch is the BR-CAL.325 calibre, an automatic winding movement which promises a 42 hour power reserve, 25 jewels and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour. The movement also comes equipped with a 360 degree oscillating rotor which can be seen through the exhibition case back.
