Composition: 100 % Cotton Color: Terracota Description Hand crocheted sleeveless Maxi Dress A crochet masterpiece and one of ESCVDO's favorites, The AMAZONAS is a dress designed with a type of stitch, the “Abanico”, that mimics the waves of the ocean, an homage to the sea as it was interpreted by ancient Peruvians in drawings and textiles. Each dress is handmade by a single woman artisan over a period of three weeks. An ideal dress for the summer. Sustainability Our cotton is locally sourced from the coastal region of Pisco, Peru, and it adheres to the highest fair-trade standards. Our supplier LA COLONIAL, is certified SGS ISO 9001, OEKO-TEX Standard 100, and GOTS. We produce alongside associations of female artisans from different regions of Peru and we strive to keep contributing with education and opportunities to the empowering of women.
