ASICS's GEL-TERRAIN sneaker draws inspiration from their GEL-FUJITRABUCO series of trail runners. ​The shoe's design is inspired by the flora and fauna of the Australian outback, as evidenced of the green and purple hues throughout, as well as the carabiner attached to the laces. Dynamic lines from their early trail running archive are met with technical welding and no-sew film elements that feature a topographical design.
