Inspired by a pair of vintage jeans worn by French rail workers in the 1920's, these pants have a deep rise and a relaxed leg. Made from a unique denim that was specially made for this collection, the feel of this fabric is complex and naturally uneven – a handle that was common during WW2 when fabric production was affected by rationing restrictions, and only existed for a short period of time due to the wave of mass production beginning shortly afterwards.
The time and craftsmanship that goes into our denim continues with the dyeing process, using advanced techniques that were more commonly used for European vintage denim, and using Indian indigo to achieve this classic hue.
Please note: Due to the nature of this unsanforized denim, this garment may experience some shrinkage after the first wash/soak on a cool wash cycle. Leg length may shrink up to 2.5 inches, and the waist may shrink up to 1.5 inches but will let out with natural wear. Please hang to dry - DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.
