For this new & exclusive development we've been working exclusively with American shells—tanned by traditional vegetable tanning expert & family owned tannery, to develop this article exclusively made for Meermin. For this singular development, shells go through a straight vegetable tan with a newly developed formula of liquors, oils and waxes resulting in an extremely pliable, soft and casual Shell Cordovan, while retaining all the shell fiber density and structure. With an unglazed and heavily waxy surface—ready for an aggressive patina from day one. Something really unique and unseen before. The Ultraflex System is our newest take on the Goodyear Welt construction — A whole new system developed from scratch where Quality & Style meet real Comfort. This system is a combination of materials & technique making these boots, one of the most comfortable made to date. Goodyear welted on the ROD last, the perfect fit for our new (ULTRAFLEX SYSTEM). The ROD last features soft & casual lines that perfectly fit the Jumper Boot's style. Keeping the casual look from our HOK last, but adjusted to be able to accommodate the double insole system during production, without affecting the overall fit.
