The Classic Shell Cordovan, tanned the traditional way and stamped with the unique Inca grain exclusively made for us. For the first run of this unique material, we've selected our plain toed service boot to display all the grain uniqueness & finished it with a very convenient City lug rubber sole.
As we did for the Heritage Shell Cordovan, we've worked exclusively with American shells—tanned by traditional vegetable tanning expert & family owned tannery, to develop this article exclusively made for Meermin. Shell Cordovan is one of the most sought-after leathers in the shoemaking industry, and that is simply because it is so good.
The Inca grain Shell is based on the Heritage Shell Cordovan; tanned the old way; full vegetable, slow pit tanned, air dried and hand finished resulting in an extremely dense while pliable leather, with a very transparent & unique finish that characterizes Shell Cordovan leather.
The Ultraflex System is our newest take on the Goodyear Welt construction — A whole new system developed from scratch where Quality & Style meet real Comfort. This system is a combination of materials & technique making these boots, one of the most comfortable made to date.
Goodyear welted on the ROD last, the perfect fit for our new (ULTRAFLEX SYSTEM). The ROD last features soft & casual lines that perfectly fit the Service Boot's style. Keeping the casual look from our HOK last, but adjusted to be able to accommodate the double insole system during production, without affecting the overall fit. We do recommend taking the same size you wear on the HOK last, for a good fit and an almost non-existent break in.
