From the brand: A take on the classic penny loafer. More comfortable than ever. First we removed the shoes structure and interior lining, this allows for greater breathability and flexibility. Perfect to keep your feet cool and comfortable for the spring and summer months ahead! Next we took the idea further and made our insoles slightly thinner, this removes some of the overall weight of the shoe. These small but purposeful changes allow for a lightweight, flexible, and comfortable, Goodyear welted shoe that will instantly become a staple in your wardrobe!
The Novonappa calf is our newest addition to our Collection, a novonappa double tanned French calf, which is considered to be the one best calf available.
It is exclusively sourced from Tanneries Haas in the beautiful region de l’Alsace in France. This leather is entirely full grain and made with traditional Alsatian tanning techniques. The leather is through-dyed, double tanned (chrome tanned & vegetable re-tanned with a blend of chestnut, quebracho & mimosa) and hot stuffed with a mix of greases to nourish the leather, which provide the leather its distinctive, beautiful & rich glow, mellow touch & exceptional softness. Its distictive grain & natural finish (achieved thanks to the veg-tanning) allow the development of a beautiful & aggressive patina that will make every single pair unique & interesting over the time.
To produce this stunning leather only A-grade selection skins can be used, and so less than thirty percent of the skins that come to the tannery are suitable for the Barenia production.

Goodyear welted on the RON last, the perfect fit for an unlined loafer. This extremely comfortable and flexible shoe was made by possible by the removal of the shoes interior lining and upper reinforcement you normally see in these types of shoes. This allows the shoe to conform to your foot nicely, you'll be surprised by how soft and gentle the underside of the leather as it keeps your feet feeling comfortable all day.
