Product Description

The Camel Overshirt offers a stylish solution for chilly days, blending comfort with functionality. Tailored with a slightly oversized fit, it features durable Corozo buttons and a soft, insulating camel wool fabric harvested sustainably. Designed with practicality in mind, this overshirt includes a straight hem, side slits for easy movement, and buttoned cuffs, making it perfect for layering or standalone wear. From the brand: The Camel Overshirt is tailored to be slightly oversized in fit, ideal as a second layer for blustery days to block the cold, windy chill of the Pacific Northwest. It's finished with buttoned cuffs, a long-fit straight hem, side slits for mobility, and a yoke at the shoulders. This garment uses  Corozo buttons, made from the seeds of the tagua palm tree - chosen because they are natural, durable, and scratch-resistant alternatives to plastic.  We selected camel wool for its sustainability and were intrigued to learn about its unique harvesting method - it's gathered by hand as part of the natural shedding process, literally falling off in handfuls when they are groomed. Milled into wool it is a very soft, insulating fabric that has longer fibers than sheep wool, which results in a more durable finished product that is also super fine and extremely soft. Made in Victoria.
