For our Paisley Collection, we have selected our favourite paisley designs from one of the most important pattern designers of the Victorian era, George Haité.
George Haité is considered the forefather of the modern paisley design as we know it. Each George Haité design was originally, painstakingly hand-drawn and coloured between 1850-1870.
These all provided a backdrop and inspiration to the 1960’s and 70’s paisley re-emergence, which you know we love!
Flare Street is the exclusive license holder of these fabulous George Haité textiles, made possible through the Victoria & Albert Museum of London.
For the last two or more years, we have been preparing this collection, working with truly talented artists. They have brought our selection of George Haités 160 year old artwork into the digital world, carefully keeping all the original colours and hand drawn markings. Up close, you’ll be able to see the intricate details carried through. We even left the tiny ink scratch marks!

Plastic free packaging with compostable satchels, compostable address labels and tape. All paper is FSC Certified and use soy-based inks & non-toxic chemicals.

who focus on education & planting trees for the planet to offset all emissions.
