Product Description

The MoMA Exclusive Nuno Rhombus Wool Scarf features a unique design inspired by traditional Japanese patterns. Made from 100% warm wool, this scarf combines ancient weaving techniques with contemporary aesthetics. Measuring 78.7h x 11.8w inches, it offers ample length for styling versatility. Ideal for adding a touch of cultural artistry to any outfit, this piece is perfect for both everyday wear and special occasions. From the brand: MoMA Exclusive: For this scarf from Nuno (“fabric” in Japanese), designer Reiko Sudo was inspired by nanako , an antique Japanese cut-glass pattern in which rows of tiny triangles suggest fish scales. ( Nanako was originally conceived following the logic that, as scales protect the flesh of fish, this pattern would repel negative energy.) For this scarf, and all of her designs, Sudo works exclusively with weavers and dyers in Kiryu, Japan, combining ancient practices with modern technologies to create textiles that are original and distinctive. Sudo’s work is represented in MoMA’s collection and her designs were featured in the Museum’s 1998 exhibition Structure and Surface: Contemporary Japanese Textiles . The Nuno Rhombus Wool Scarf is made from warm 100% wool and measures 78.7h x 11.8"w, long enough to wrap around your neck twice. Dry clean only.
