How to Hand Wash your Knitwear: Fill a tub with clean, lukewarm water. Add a wool detergent. Soak wool garment for 10 minutes. Gently squeeze the suds through it. Do not rub, wring or stretch the garment. Rinse thoroughly in lukewarm water. Gently press the water out and place the garment lengthwise on a clean, dry towel. Roll up the towel and press to squeeze out excess water – do not wring or twist. How to Dry Your Knitwear: It's best to lay the garment out flat and let it air-dry, preferably in the shade avoiding direct sunlight. Do not hang wool or knitted garments to dry, as this can cause the fibres to stretch.
