Growing up in Rome, my best friend and I embarked on an ambitious adventure. Our goal? To visit every fountain in the city. Countless afternoons were spent darting through ancient streets, discovering famous fountains and hidden gems.
Yet, even after two school years, there were always more to see.
One of our favorites was the Fontana del Tritone in Piazza Barberini, a masterpiece by Bernini. The Barberini family, an esteemed Roman aristocracy, had their palace nearby, adding to the allure of the piazza.
